MagPlex magnetic microbeads
By binding various supplementary molecules to the surface of microbeads, simultaneous detection of up to 500 targets, such as proteins and nucleic acids, is achieved.
MagPlex Microspheres (MagPlex) have several advantages over traditional MicroPlex Microspheres. Because MagPlex is magnetic, it can be quickly and easily separated from solutions using a magnetic separator. This improves recovery rates during dispensing and washing processes and facilitates assay automation. Additionally, MagPlex offers 500 types of regions, allowing for the construction of assays that can detect up to 500 items in a single well. MagPlex is compatible with all four types of xMAP systems. The MAGPIX system is a simple, user-friendly, and compact Luminex device, and MagPlex can be used in combination with this system. These microbeads are the necessary reagents for constructing xMAP bioassays.
